Vintage-inspired Champagne Diamond Engagement Ring
The lovely Vineyard Bride blog recently featured one of our most opulent vintage-inspired designs, the unique Champagne Diamond Cluster ring, paired with one of our most beloved Mens wedding bands, the Seashore Band.
Both rings were part of Katie Nicolle’s Fine Art Photography workshop at the incredible Graydon Hall Manor in Toronto. Says the blog, “With styling by Vivian Lyttle Events, the workshop was inspired by European estate homes and all things romantic.
Using a palette of cream, gold, blush and yellow as well as lush textures of lace and velvet, the editorial brought Europe to life in the heart of Toronto. The bride was dressed like royalty in two gowns by Claire Pettibone and adorned with crowns and veils by Noon on the Moon, as well as a gorgeous antique-inspired ring by Anouk Jewelry.”

Free-Form Engagement Rings Grouping
In the image above you can see the unmistakable hand-made nature of our gold and diamond jewelry. Anat sculpts her creations from scratch and finishes every ring by hand. Thus, our collection of one of a kind gold jewelry with “human touch” textures is reminiscent of the treasures of antiquity. The free-form halo ring features an oval sapphire, in a halo of accent diamonds. In the centre you can see the vintage-style diamond cluster ring, featuring accent diamonds set in prongs. And at the bottom is a free-form solitaire set with a one of a kind champagne diamond, similar – but not identical – to the Icy Diamond Solitaire ring. This is the case of falling in love with a stone and creating the perfect setting for it!

We, at Anouk Jewelry are feeling especially festive these days and wanted to share with you some of the highlights of 2019.
It’s been a true pleasure collaborating with our wonderful clients, and creating custom pieces that will forever be treasured by the couples and their families.
As well as creating unique engagement rings and wedding bands, we loved re-designing family jewelry.
We helped transform family heirlooms into new rings, breathing fresh life into old pieces.
We are so grateful to our wonderful clients for trusting us with preserving their family story!
In addition to creating alternative engagement rings with diamonds and sapphires, this year we got to use a lot of man-made and eco-friendly gemstones, such as lab-grown diamonds and moissanites. These gorgeous stones come in a variety of colours and are a great choice for environmentally-minded people.
In 2019 we were fortunate to work with very talented photographers, who beautifully captured our jewelry collection.
It’s been a wonderful time of growth for us, and here are some reminders of what we’ve been up to.

And of course, who could forget the sapphire rings? Probably one of the most versatile gemstones, they come in a variety of colours and make a perfectly unique engagement and statement rings. This peach sapphire is set in an oval Vintage Rosetta design in rose gold and surrounded by diamonds. It was recently featured in two separate publications.

Garnets are January Birthstones
Anouk Jewelry continues the series of tributes to the birthstones. Each month we share the beauty of a different birthstone. We’re starting the new year with a focus on the lovely garnets – January birthstones.
Custom Garnet with Diamond Textured Gold Ring
Garnets are beautiful and versatile, most often coming in deep red or dark orange colours. There are also some rare garnets that come in blue and even green! Tsavorites are an emerald-green variety of garnet, and as such are one of the most popular and expensive varieties of this gemstone. People have been using garnets in jewelry since the bronze age. Garnets were also found in inlays in Ancient Egyptian jewelry. Throughout the Middle Ages garnets were set in signet rings that served as talismans for protection, both in battles and against plagues. More recently, the Victorians loved setting garnets in clusters mimicking the pomegranate design.
Custom White Gold Ring with Two Garnets and a Diamond
The ring above is a custom design that honours our client’s birthstone – the garnet. Anouk Jewelry created the ring, inspired by the ancient “trinity” design. Textured white gold ring features two garnets flanking a central diamond. The deep red stones add a sense of drama while the clear diamond soften the look with some sparkle.
Although an ancient favourite, garnets are not very hardy. For that reason, we encourage our clients to be mindful while wearing garnets in a ring. Our Care instructions advise removing jewelry while working out with equipment, gardening, rock climbing or during any impact heavy activity.

The little dainty pair above is a custom design. The client chose the Three Leaf Studs earring piece in hammered yellow gold to feature two birthstones, a garnet and a citrine. We loved creating this whimsical pair of earrings – it’s such a creative way to celebrate a connection between two people!

Hammered Gold Rings Hand Made in Canada
Anouk Jewelry was created because Anat was inspired by the treasures of the ancient cultures. We wanted to design jewelry that echoes the timeless beauty of the hammered gold rings of antiquity. The one-of-a-kind nature of the hand made jewelry reflects our own sensibility. We come to create each piece as if it is meant to be a family heirloom, cherished by generations of wearers. Each gemstone we source, is as unique as the handmade design of the ring it is set in.
The ring below is part of our Golden Leaves collection. Inspired by the natural world around us, it features three sculpted leaves in white hammered gold we are known for. We call this texture “Seashore” as it reminds us of the beaches. Often we set our rings with green, teal or blue sapphires, that recall the vast open spaces of the ocean waters. This particular ring is called Blue Sapphire Leaves Prong Solitaire. It is set with a .88 carat blue sapphire, held in place by four leaf-shaped prongs. A delicate cluster of three gold leaves on the side completes the look.
Solitaires are the traditional choice for engagement rings. To make yours as unique and individual as you, consider a colour gemstone as opposed to white diamonds. The best choice for a long lasting stone to wear for a life time, we suggest opting for sapphires. Sapphires are very versatile and come in a rainbow of hues and colours. Below is a selection of our sapphire hammered gold rings. Our favourites are round teal sapphires, oval green sapphires and blue sapphires of any shape. They pair so well with our favourite hammered yellow gold! Together this look reminds us of a beach vacation, enjoying the warm sand, looking out into the cool endless sea. Wearing a green sapphire yellow gold ring is like carrying a seashore with you wherever you go!
Sapphires are a great choice not only for the classic solitaire ring look! They are also well suited for statement rings or bespoke engagement ring. This beauty is a custom design, featuring a roughly cut Montana green sapphire surrounded by sculpted gold nuggets. Its many facets create a unique shimmering surface, guaranteed to be unlike anything other ring out there!
For lovers of a more traditional engagement ring look, we source clear (or white) diamonds. Did you know that the best choice for ethically sourced diamonds are Canadian diamonds? The ring below is our Sun and the Moon ring, set with a 1ct diamond flanked by accent diamonds. Here it is paired with a hammered gold Extra Fine Seashore wedding band. Anouk Jewelry’s Seashore bands come in several sizes, from the Dainty wedding band to Extra Fine, or the more substantial Seashore band. Our Mens’ size Seashore wedding band is available with a straight, or a curved edge for comfort fit.
